Hydraulic Cylinders

Hydraulic cylinders are mechanical devices that convert fluid pressure into linear force and motion. They are commonly used in a wide range of industrial applications, such as construction equipment, manufacturing machinery, and transportation vehicles.

A hydraulic cylinder consists of a cylindrical barrel, a piston, and a piston rod. The barrel is filled with hydraulic fluid, which is pressurized by a pump. The piston is located inside the barrel and is connected to a piston rod that extends outside the cylinder.

When fluid pressure is applied to the piston, it creates a force that pushes the piston and the attached piston rod in a linear direction. This linear motion can be used to move or control other components in a mechanical system.

Hydraulic cylinders come in a variety of sizes and designs to accommodate different applications. They can be single-acting, where the fluid pressure is applied in only one direction, or double-acting, where the fluid pressure is used to move the piston in both directions.
